Amanda Vande Brake

Amanda joined the EMG team in 2006 and currently serves as EMG's Vice President of Client Services and Business Development. In her work developing and strengthening EMG's client relationships by ensuring client expectations are met and bottom lines are enhanced by the solutions EMG delivers, Amanda leads EMG's talented group of client service directors, business development specialists and marketing communications managers.

Prior to heading up EMG's client services, sales and marketing teams, Amanda developed EMG's content and user experience service lines and solutions as Director of Communications and Brand Experience. She also shares EMG's client successes and innovations by speaking at various interactive marketing events and was most recently invited to present at the 2010 SHSMD (Society of Healthcare Strategy & Market Development) conference and the 2010 Physician Strategies Summit.

Amanda's background, in a word, is interdisciplinary and provides the ideal foundation for her work crafting strategic client solutions for EMG's broad range of clients - companies such as Scottrade, NBC Universal, Columbia University, Banner Health and Loma Linda University Medical Center. Before finding her place within the world of interactive advertising and marketing, Amanda developed her technical and analytical skills as a journalist writing news and feature articles for a city newspaper, an editorial associate for an academic journal published by MIT Press, an interactive content developer at an OC advertising agency, the web content director for retail fashion leader Arden B and even as a P.A. on the Coen brothers’ lesser-known gem Romance and Cigarettes. With a B.A. in English and a B.A. in Theatre from Northwestern College and an M.A. in Performance Studies from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Amanda is also a former theatre reviewer for the award-winning OC Weekly.
