The leading provider of Intelligent Capture & Exchange solutions, Kofax represents a global network of more than 1,200 authorized partners. Their needs revolved around promoting the features and benefits of their VirtualReScan (VRS) specialized scanning software product in a way that would appeal to a broad audience and gain momentum in the viral media space. The media developed needed to engage and be relevant to a global trade show audience as well.
With its roots in film direction and production, EMG approached the Kofax spots mindful of the need to reach a global audience online and in person. Choosing comedy as its tactic, the EMG team kicked off the process with creative discovery and concept before moving into scripting, casting and other pre-production activities.
EMG directed and shot the spots on-site at an actual Kofax office building before diving into all post production work to have all spots completed on time and within budget. Not only that, but the spots were immediately well received by both target audiences and enjoyed a strong showing in the viral online video space.
