EMG developed a web module for non-technical users. The module allows users to custom-create fundraising collateral from design to fulfillment.
Driving the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’s (UNLV) “Invent the Future” fundraising campaign, the UNLV Foundation encouraged private financial support for the students, faculty, research and innovative programs to further distinguish the University. The Foundation required a user-friendly automated marketing solution that would provide print-on-demand and variable publications to support all development officers during the University’s first-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign – a $500 million project.
Prior to the solution launching, The UNLV Foundation was faced with many challenges in coordinating and supporting highly segmented and targeted publications for their previous campaigns and foundation activities. With limited in-house resources, the design process was time-consuming, creative direction was arbitrary and quality control was difficult.
In response to The UNLV Foundation’s needs and concerns, Earthbound Media Group (EMG) created a highly-innovative and sophisticated custom software application that was easily implemented and adopted into the Foundation’s marketing and communication plan. Utilizing Variable Data Publication (VDP) technology, the resulting web-based module features password-protected administrative maintenance, a diversity of collateral templates, project archiving features, support and management all via an extremely user-friendly interface.
A versatile and do-it-all tool, the module allows The Foundation to target a large number of potential donors using highly-personalized publications. Featuring a series of seven dynamic templates, designed in accordance with The Foundation’s established branding guidelines, users across campus can imagine, create and produce their own documents in just a few simple steps. This system not only ensures successful fundraising efforts on a larger scale but saves UNLV personnel from investing any time on material fulfillment and circulation.
