EMG Concludes Consulting Engagement with American Sentinel University

IRVINE, CA – Earthbound Media Group (EMG) is proud to announce the completion of a comprehensive strategic consulting project in association with American Sentinel University. Seeking to meet its student acquisition and brand awareness goals, American Sentinel reached out to EMG to conduct a comprehensive discovery engagement and to provide an integrated marketing plan designed to increase the University’s awareness, grow the volume of social connections and engagement and drive more qualified traffic to its website.

The ultimate outcome of the client partnership was a synthesized marketing plan that integrated strategies related to each one of American Sentinel’s digital channels toward generating quality leads and awareness online. With an emphasis in healthcare and information technology courses already in place combined with the directional and tactical strategies delivered by EMG, American Sentinel University is equipped to attract, accommodate and create awareness among prospective students seeking to take advantage of the currently high demand for Healthcare and Information Technology professionals.

Kicking off the four-month engagement, EMG conducted interviews with university stakeholders and administration, analyzed the distance education market and competitive landscape, performed audits of all American Sentinel web properties, and even attended the school’s 2010 graduation ceremony where EMG gathered feedback from current and past students. EMG also conducted a comprehensive social listening endeavor to provide an understanding of the online communities relevant to the institution as well as the perception of the university within those same online communities.
