IRVINE, CA – Earthbound Media Group (EMG) is pleased to announce that they have recently promoted Director of Digital Marketing Brenda Castelo to be its VP of Strategy and Media. The move comes just one year after Castelo joined the Southern California strategic marketing agency.
In her role as VP of Strategy and Media, Castelo oversees a critical department in the agency’s day-to-day client services-oriented operations. Castelo coordinates the efforts of her online media, campaign analyst and marketing strategy teams to continually envision, implement, monitor and optimize various branding, communications and marketing campaigns which include strategic planning, content strategy, user experience, media planning, analytics, campaign management and emerging media tactics for a large number of EMG’s clients.

With nearly a decade of digital marketing experiences specializing in all facets of interactive marketing, Castelo served in former strategic management positions at interactive agencies such as Media Revolution/Univessence Digital Studios, O’Grady Meyers, BIG Interactive and Ignited where she worked with such clients as Sony VAIO Latin America, EA Mobile, Activision, NBC/Universal and State Farm. Along with her extensive professional background, Castelo is also a graduate of University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Sociology and holds a Web Intelligence Certification from the University of British Columbia.
