EMG Wins Two OC ADDY Awards

IRVINE, CA – Earthbound Media Group (EMG) is proud to announce that it has recently added two 2011 OC ADDY Awards from the American Advertising Federation (AAF) to its trophy case. The two bronze award-winning projects were the Cardon Children’s Medical Center KidZone interactive children’s website created for Banner Health and a branded content campaign site created to promote NBC Universal’s movie Devil.

As an informative and engaging experience for children ages 3-11 and their parents who are planning to visit the new medical center, Cardon Children’s KidZone includes customizable characters, instructive games and educational virtual video tours of the hospital with interactive environments and won in the “Online” category. The blogging and user generated content (UGC) website for Devil is entitled The Devil’s Meeting and won in the “Website” category for its wealth of well-articulated blog content as well as the website’s UGC section which invites visitors to anonymously share their deepest darkest secrets to be labeled “devilish” or “divine” by other site visitors.

The ADDY Awards are the largest advertising competition in the world, with an average of 40,000 entries on a yearly basis and starts at the local level, moves on to the district level and ultimately honors its winners on a national level. Presented by the AAF, the oldest national advertising trade association, the ADDY awards are viewed by many in the industry as the premier advertising awards.
