IRVINE, CA – Earthbound Media Group (EMG) was awarded with two silver Communicator Awards in this year’s competition held by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA). The two award-winning projects were the Cardon Children’s Medical Center KidZone interactive children’s website created for Banner Health and a recruitment- and user-centered website developed for Hood College of Frederick, Maryland.

As an informative and engaging web experience for children ages 3-11 and their parents who are planning to visit the new medical center, the Cardon Children’s KidZone features customizable characters, instructive games and educational virtual video tours of the hospital with interactive environments and won in the Family/Parenting Website category. The stunningly designed and CMS-driven Hood College website won in the “Education Website” category for its clean, refreshing interface and its well-organized and engaging content.

The Communicator Awards has been validating the work of communications and creative professionals for more than a decade. The International Academy of the Arts is the sanctioning body for the Communicator Awards and receives approximately 9,000 entries from international companies and agencies of all sizes every year.
