EMG Opens Office in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA – Earthbound Media Group (EMG) will expand northward to Los Angeles (LA) county in a matter of days, marking the official opening of its newest office, located in Culver City, California. Seeing significant opportunity even within the current recession, EMG Managing Partners Blaine Behringer and Damien Navarro pegged LA as the perfect spot for its next office as EMG extends its brand and expands its efforts to service the LA-area market and entertainment verticals ranging from TV and film to music.
“Because LA is the entertainment capital of the world, expanding EMG’s presence up to this key region was essential for EMG to serve our growing diversity of entertainment and corporate clients,” explained EMG Chief Visionary Officer Damien Navarro. “The decision to set up shop in LA was also driven by our need to expand our recruitment pool.”
A few of EMG’s management team will be helming the new office including Chief Operating Officer Blaine Behringer as well as EMG Team Leads and LA residents VP of Entertainment Marketing Jayson Oertel and Director of Project Management Ashley Matsui.
“I am very excited to have a Los Angeles presence, and I am looking forward to EMG making a huge impact on the industry and culture there,” said Matsui. “The move can only mean good things for EMG. I worked in LA for over 7 years before relocating to Irvine when I started with EMG, and I already foresee EMG making a long-lasting impression with entertainment industry clients the moment we start growing our roots within this highly competitive landscape.”
Situated in the “director’s hub” of the city, the brand new LA office is surrounded by already established film directors and other mid- to large-size entertainment companies. Additionally, the LA office is expected to serve as a docking station for its EMG team members nationwide to prepare for southern California-based meetings as well as to unwind before flights and driving commutes.
“A local presence in LA will allow us to better serve our Los Angeles, national and international clients while building strong, business relationships with each of them,” added Navarro. “It is incredible that even in spite of the struggling economy, EMG is able to grow. Expect to see EMG evolve with fresh new faces and new client projects well into 2010 and beyond.”
